Home; a place to find dreamers

 

I was rifling through some vintage at a local thrift shop when I had an idea; I wanted to find a way to celebrate sustainable and local fashions in a high-end way.

I believe we can play with fashion and have it be locally sourced or recycled. We can give money to our local dreamers and reduce our impact on the environment. For this project, I knew I wanted to shoot in-studio fashion and style the shoot alongside local artists. It takes a village, and I wanted to build my village.

I came up with an art direction and sent a message to some amazing local vendors. I knew they would bring the vision to life.  Thankfully, they trusted me and jumped on the project.

Although we fought through ever-changing COVID restrictions and some last-minute challenges, I’m so proud of what we pulled together.
